Mirah Hospitality, which was acquired by SKFS Group in October 2024 operates three brands—Rajdhani, Hitchki, and Bayroute. ET HospitalityWorld caught up with Aji Nair, the CEO of the company to find out about the plans for the company.

“We are first concentrating on three brands—Rajdhani, Hitchki and Bayroute. We are currently operating around 32 outlets. Out of which, Rajdhani and Rajdhani Street, our food court model, together account for around 20 outlets. We also have seven Bayroutes and six Hitchkis,” Nair said.

SKFS bought over 100 percent of the company and it was only in March 2025 that Nair and his team were handed over the responsibility to nurture and grow the brands and run Mirah Hospitality, he added.

“Currently in this financial year we have already opened five outlets—we opened all three brands inside the NESCO complex. We also opened a Rajdhani in Electronic City, Bengaluru and a Bayroute in Mumbai. All opened this month itself,” he said, adding that they had also signed for four new outlets.

He stated that Bayroute was currently present in Mumbai only, they were keen to take it to Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

“In Gurugram and Delhi, I am still scouting for a space while in Hyderabad we have almost finalised a location and in Bengaluru we have signed two Bayroutes,” Nair said.

On the subject of new brands, the CEO said that his team were developing three more brands and since it took six to eight months he was expecting them to at least have their shells ready in three months time.

“One is definitely a coastal brand, serving very premium, very traditional and authentic food. We are also developing a Lebanese brand which is more mid-market (their Bayroute brand is more premium). The third brand we have begun to build is in the lines of a world bar,” he explained.

They were also entering the cloud kitchen business and wanted to use aggregators to place where they could not build their established brands, especially Rajdhani, he added.

They were currently operating outlets in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune with stores to open in Hyderabad and the Delhi NCR within this financial year, he hoped.

Speaking about their future expansion plans, Nair said that since he had taken over only recently, the current maps were specific to this financial year with a future two or three year one being readied sometimes in October.
